Performances and Activities

The first public appearance of the choir was at the Ludlow Family Christmas Concert on Saturday 13th December 2008.

As well as the weekly rehearsals, day workshops are being scheduled, sometimes with visiting leaders. We also plan to have a range of social events, tours and exchange visits.

The highlight of the choir’s first year was on Saturday 27th June 2009 when Ludlow New Voices joined with Ludlow Choral Society in the first performance of a new choral work In Praise of Music for adult and youth choirs. Written by Patrick Larley, Music Director of Ludlow Choral Society, the concert was also part of the 2009 Ludlow Festival.

2009-2010 was also an exciting year for LNV singers as they went into their second year with a performance of Britten's St Nicolas in November with Ludlow Choral Society and singing christmassy music at the Ludlow Family Christmas concert in St Laurence's Church.They excelled themselves in the Britten!
