Joining the Choir

Who can join?

Ludlow New Voices is open to all young people aged 9 to 16 years old. There are no auditions but a love of singing is essential!

When & Where?

Ludlow New Voices meets for rehearsal every Tuesday in term-time from 5.15 prompt - 6.45pm in the Main Hall of Ludlow Conference Centre, Lower Galdeford, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 1RZ (www.ludlowconferencecentre.co.uk) 

Cost

The fee for attending is currently just £1.00 per session or £10 per term if paid in advance.

Commitment

Young people may join the choir on a trial basis, attending up to three rehearsals before deciding whether they would like to become members. During that time, they can pay their £1 fee each time they come.

Once they’ve decided to join, members are asked to commit to regular attendance and to pay for a full term in advance. Both the individual members and the choir as a whole benefit most from regular attendance and we see this as very important to the future success of the choir.

If a young person is unable to attend a rehearsal for whatever reason, a parent or guardian is asked to inform Pauline in advance by phoning 01584 875523

Transport

We are very keen that travel difficulties shouldn’t stop anyone from coming to the choir. If you have a travel problem, please contact Pauline.

Accessibility

We aim to make membership of the Choir as accessible as possible so please do contact Pauline if you will have a problem with fees, a disability or any other problem.
